The origin of Muriblat dates back to 1987, when the father of its founder, Angel L. Alonso, working in the hospital and veterinary departments of a company in Barcelona, began to see the future in pest control, as he had access to highly effective products for exterminating cockroaches.

His first client was a community of property owners in central Madrid, whose administrator, upon seeing the immediate and effective results, started giving him more communities of property owners. This is how it all began, and thanks to word of mouth, the client base grew, turning it into a family business where everyone contributed to its success for 35 years until Ángel finally retired and handed over the management to his two children, who created a company that had to diversify due to the overwhelming growth in just two years.

It was then, in 2024, that Muriblat emerged, with the goal of providing people with a much closer and more personalized service, diversifying its offerings and covering more needs. Its founder is Tamara Alonso Ibáñez.

Tamara has been working and training in the sector since 2003. She obtained a higher degree in Administration and Finance and had the privilege of studying at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Vicálvaro, where she earned a degree in Business Administration and Management. She has successfully completed the Professional Certificates in Application Technique and Technical Director, both valid across the European Union, in addition to constantly refreshing her knowledge and experience, as this is a constantly evolving sector, where pests quickly adapt to their environment, biocides, and pest control methods that are also evolving.

The name Muriblat comes from the Latin terms “Muridae”: Rodent; and “Blattodea”: Cockroach.
